India Strengthens AI Infrastructure with Reliance and Meta Data Centre Partnership: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and Meta Platforms have partnered to establish an AI-enabled hyperscale data centre in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The upcoming facility will have an initial capacity of 168 MW, making it one of India’s largest AI-focused digital infrastructure projects.

India’s First Built-to-Suit AI Data Centre for Meta
The Jamnagar facility will become Meta’s first built-to-suit data centre in India. A built-to-suit facility is designed specifically to meet the operational and technical requirements of a particular client.
The project is expected to be completed within two years. It will provide advanced computing capacity required for AI model training, cloud services, and large-scale data processing.
