DRDO Conducts Three Successful Missile Tests
DRDO Strengthens India’s Missile Shield with Triple Missile Test Success: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully carried out three major missile tests on June 10 and 11, 2026, marking another milestone in India’s indigenous defence programme. The trials included Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) interceptor missiles and the maiden flight test of the Naval Anti-Ship Missile-Medium Range (NASM-MR).

Endo-atmospheric interception takes place within the Earth’s atmosphere and serves as the second defensive layer, targeting missiles that evade the first interception attempt.
