Andhra Pradesh Advances Green AI Infrastructure in Visakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh government has approved a major green artificial intelligence data centre project in Visakhapatnam district, strengthening the state’s ambition to emerge as a leading technology and digital infrastructure destination.

The facility will be developed by AM AI Factory (Vizag) Pvt Ltd as an integrated 512 MW Green AI Data Centre. The project represents an investment of more than ₹31,387 crore.

Project Location and Capacity

The proposed data centre will come up at Amanam village in Bheemunipatnam mandal of Visakhapatnam district. According to the government approval, the facility is expected to be established within two years and four months.

With a planned capacity of 512 MW, the project is designed to support large-scale artificial intelligence computing and data processing requirements.
