210 Indian Peacekeepers Honoured with UN Medals in South Sudan: A total of 210 Indian peacekeepers serving with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) have been awarded UN Medals for their outstanding service.
The medal ceremony was held in Juba, South Sudan, on 17 August 2026. Among those honoured were 6 women peacekeepers and 7 staff officers.
