Leadership transition in the commission
Tamil Nadu SC ST Commission Interim Leadership Change: The Tamil Nadu State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes has undergone a temporary leadership change. This follows the demise of its Chairperson, Justice S. Tamilvanan.

Government order and authority
The decision was formally issued by the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department of Tamil Nadu. This department oversees policies and welfare initiatives related to Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) in the state.
