Launch of Aadhaar Mascot Udai
UIDAI Introduces Aadhaar Mascot Udai: The Unique Identification Authority of India has launched the Aadhaar mascot named Udai to make Aadhaar services more people-friendly and accessible. The mascot has been introduced as a resident-facing communication companion for simplifying Aadhaar-related information.
Udai is designed to be friendly, relatable, and easy to understand. The initiative aims to humanise digital identity services and improve public engagement with Aadhaar systems.
Purpose Behind Introducing Udai
The primary objective of Udai is to bridge the gap between complex technology and everyday citizens. The mascot will help explain Aadhaar services in a simple and visual manner.
Key areas where Udai will assist include Aadhaar updates, authentication processes, offline Aadhaar verification, and selective sharing of Aadhaar information. Emphasis is also placed on responsible and secure usage of Aadhaar.
