Collaboration with Hirose Electric Group
Tamil Nadu has signed an MoU with Hirose Electric Group, a Japanese company, to establish an electrical and electronic connectors manufacturing unit. The facility will be set up in Tiruvallur district with an investment of ₹100 crore.
This project will strengthen the electronics manufacturing ecosystem in the state. It also highlights Tamil Nadu’s growing appeal to international investors.
