Startup Conclave 2025 Gandhinagar Boosts India’s Innovation Drive: Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Startup Conclave 2025 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. The two-day event is organised by the Gujarat State Education Department. It brings together entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, mentors, and policymakers from across India. The conclave highlights Gujarat’s growing role in shaping the national startup ecosystem.

Scale of Participation
The conclave has drawn over 1,000 startups, 5,000 innovators, and 100 industry mentors. More than 50 venture capital funds are participating, alongside delegations from 20 Indian states. National-level platforms such as Startup India, MeitY, and iDEX have selected 170 startups for showcase.
These startups represent high-growth sectors including agriculture, defence, AI, clean tech, fintech, and healthcare. The event offers visibility to groundbreaking innovations and opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.

MoUs and Funding Opportunities

The Gujarat government is distributing funding cheques and Letters of Intent (LoIs) to promising ventures. This reflects the state’s proactive stance in facilitating capital access and providing structured mentorship.
Gujarat’s Startup Vision
By hosting this conclave, Gujarat reaffirms its vision of becoming India’s startup capital. The state already benefits from a strong industrial base, favourable policies, and robust educational institutions.
The event also aligns Gujarat with national missions such as Startup India, Digital India, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. This synergy between central and state initiatives ensures that innovation is supported through policy frameworks, funding mechanisms, and skill development programs.
