Shrishti Sharma Creates Historic Limbo Skating Speed Record: Indian roller skater Shrishti Dharmendra Sharma has achieved global recognition by setting a Guinness World Record for the fastest 50 metre limbo skating performance. She completed the challenge in an impressive 7.46 seconds, displaying extraordinary speed, flexibility and balance.

The record was officially achieved on 28 February 2025 at Sai Dham City in Umbred, Maharashtra. During the attempt, Sharma skated under multiple descending poles while maintaining high speed without touching the bars.

Completing the 50-metre track in 7.46 seconds demanded exceptional control over speed and posture. Even a slight loss of balance or touching a pole would have invalidated the record attempt.

Shrishti Sharma had already entered the Guinness World Records earlier in 2023. Her first record was set during the popular television programme “Lo Show Dei Record” held in Monza, Italy.

At that time, she completed the challenge in 9.59 seconds. In the latest attempt, she improved her own record by 2.13 seconds, which represents a major improvement in such a highly specialised sport.
