Sangli Raisin Research Centre Initiative: Maharashtra’s Sangli district is set to receive a dedicated Raisin Research Centre under Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The proposal has been approved in principle by the University Senate, following a demand raised by Sangli MLA Sudhir Gadgil.
