Revamped Sugamya Bharat App Empowers Disabled Users: The Government of India relaunched the revamped Sugamya Bharat App at the Purple Fest in Goa under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD). The app consolidates multiple services — including government benefits, jobs, and educational opportunities — into one unified platform. This integration eliminates the need for users to browse multiple portals, thereby promoting efficiency and inclusivity. The curated listings also ensure better reach of welfare schemes among PwDs, aligning with the Digital India initiative.
