Rajmarg Pravesh Portal Strengthens Highway Access Governance: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari launched the upgraded RAJMARG PRAVESH Portal on February 26, 2026 to streamline the process of granting No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for works along National Highways. The initiative focuses on transparency, speed, and digital governance.
The portal enables completely online applications for highway access permissions. It replaces manual submissions and reduces procedural delays.

The National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) focuses on highways in difficult terrain and border regions. It plays a key role in strategic connectivity.
