Rajasthan Leads India in Full Digitisation of Voter Rolls: Rajasthan has become the first state in India to complete 100% digitisation of electoral rolls under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme. Understanding the Special Intensive Revision
The SIR programme is a periodic nationwide exercise undertaken by the Election Commission of India to enhance the accuracy of electoral rolls. Rajasthan’s digital completion ensures that voter data is stored electronically with automated checks, reducing errors and manual interventions.

Upcoming Electoral Deadlines
Rajasthan will publish the Draft Electoral Roll on December 16, 2025, following which citizens can submit claims and objections until January 15, 2026. Verification hearings will continue until February 7, 2026, and the Final Electoral Roll will be released on February 14, 2026.
