PM Ujjwala Yojana Expands to Cover 25 Lakh More LPG Connections: The Government of India approved an additional 25 lakh LPG connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY). With this step, the total number of PMUY connections rises to 10.58 crore. This expansion supports clean cooking fuel access in rural and underserved areas.

Ujjwala 2.0 and Migrant Support

Eligibility Criteria

Cash support includes Rs. 1600 for a 14.2 kg cylinder or Rs. 1150 for a 5 kg cylinder. The first refill and stove are provided free of cost, promoting immediate access to clean cooking solutions. The targeted subsidy reduces recurring costs, enhancing affordability.
