NHPC Golden Jubilee Celebrated with ₹50 Commemorative Coin: On 6 November 2025, Union Minister of Power, Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal released a ₹50 commemorative coin to mark the 50th anniversary of NHPC Limited, India’s largest hydropower developer. The event in New Delhi reflected India’s appreciation of NHPC’s contribution to clean and renewable energy. The celebration also highlighted the government’s recognition of public sector leadership in advancing sustainable energy.
