Workshop Context and Objective

MeitY Hosts BHASHINI Samudaye for Language AI Collaboration: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) will host BHASHINI Samudaye: Strengthening India’s Language AI Ecosystem on 13 January 2026 in New Delhi. The workshop is organised by the Digital India BHASHINI Division.

The core objective is to deepen collaboration among stakeholders working on multilingual artificial intelligence. The event focuses on building a shared ecosystem for language technologies across India.

BHASHINI Samudaye Initiative

The initiative supports BHASHINI’s mandate under the National Language Translation Mission. Its goal is to remove language barriers in access to digital and public services.
