Strong Progress in Maternal Health Schemes
Maternal Nutrition Boost with Mission Poshan 2.0: As of July 2025, over 72.22 lakh pregnant women are registered under Mission Poshan 2.0, while the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) has reached 4.05 crore beneficiaries since January 1, 2017. These schemes aim to reduce maternal malnutrition, enhance healthcare access, and provide direct nutrition support.

Initiatives Under the National Health Mission
The National Health Mission (NHM) ensures integrated maternal health support through:

- PMSMA for specialist antenatal check-ups.

Technology-Driven Transparency
The Poshan Tracker App, launched on March 1, 2021, supports real-time beneficiary monitoring in 24 languages. From July 1, 2025, Facial Recognition System (FRS) ensures THR is provided only to registered women. The Beneficiary Module allows access to service records, nutrition videos, and SMS alerts.

Focus on Tribal Nutrition
