Strategic Quantum Collaboration
iTNT–XeedQ Quantum Partnership in Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu has taken a major step towards emerging technologies through a quantum computing collaboration between iTNT Hub and XeedQ GmbH.
A Letter of Intent (LoI) was signed at Umagine 2026, marking the beginning of structured quantum programmes in the State.
This initiative positions Tamil Nadu as an early mover in India’s quantum ecosystem. It also reflects the State’s policy focus on deep-tech innovation and future-ready skills.
Phase One Quantum Access
The first phase of the programme focuses on capacity building and exposure.
Students and startups in Tamil Nadu will receive remote access to a 4-qubit quantum computer developed by XeedQ.
This access allows learners to experiment with real quantum hardware instead of simulations.
Such hands-on exposure is crucial for understanding quantum algorithms, qubits, and quantum logic operations.

It also aligns with India’s broader push under the National Quantum Mission.
