Commissioning of INS Aravali
INS Aravali Commissioned Strengthening Indian Naval Presence: On 12 September 2025, the Indian Navy commissioned INS Aravali at Gurugram, Haryana, marking a crucial step in strengthening India’s maritime communication and security systems. The ceremony was led by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, and attended by senior officers including Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan and Vice Admiral Tarun Sobti.
A 50-men Guard of Honour welcomed the CNS, and the commissioning warrant was read by Captain Sachin Kumar Singh, the first Commanding Officer. The Naval Ensign was hoisted to the National Anthem, followed by unveiling of the commissioning plaque by Mrs. Shashi Tripathi, President of NWWA.
