GARBH INi and India’s Maternal Health Research Push: GARBH-INi (Interdisciplinary Group for Advanced Research on Birth Outcomes) is a flagship research programme supported by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT). The initiative has created one of the largest pregnancy cohorts in South Asia, involving around 12,000 women. This long-term study began in 2015 at Gurugram Civil Hospital.
