Operation Sindoor at the Heart of Celebrations

The celebrations align with India’s long-term vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Static GK fact: The first Independence Day speech at the Red Fort was delivered by Jawaharlal Nehru in 1947.

Invitations with a Message

This year’s official invitations to the Independence Day event carry the Operation Sindoor logo. Known as the highest railway bridge in the world, it represents the strong physical and emotional connection between Kashmir and the rest of India.

Static GK fact: The Chenab Railway Bridge rises 359 metres above the river, higher than the Eiffel Tower.

Linking Defence Achievements with National Progress

The celebrations aim to showcase how military success complements national growth. By combining defence pride with development goals, the theme of a confident and secure Naya Bharat is reinforced through every ceremonial element.
