Chinese Foreign Minister’s First Visit After LAC Tensions: The Chinese Foreign Minister visited India for the first time after the recent tensions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). He held the 24th round of the Special Representatives (SRs) Dialogue with the National Security Advisor of India.
During the meeting, both nations reiterated their commitment to find a balanced and acceptable solution to the boundary question, guided by the 2005 Agreement on Political Parameters and Guiding Principles.

Strengthening Border Mechanisms

Restart of Bilateral Dialogues

Border trade will also be reopened through Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand, Shipki La Pass in Himachal Pradesh, and Nathu La Pass in Sikkim, restoring important economic and cultural linkages.
