Assam’s Mukhya Mantrir Eti Koli Duti Paat Scheme: The Government of Assam launched the Mukhya Mantrir Eti Koli Duti Paat Scheme as a focused welfare initiative for tea garden workers. The scheme recognises the historic role of tea communities in building Assam’s economy and cultural identity.
