India to Participate in 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in Barbados: India will take part in the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) scheduled in Bridgetown, Barbados from October 5 to 12, 2025. The delegation will be led by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, highlighting India’s proactive role in strengthening global parliamentary ties.

The Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, presiding officers, and secretaries from various legislatures will also be part of the Indian team. Ahead of the departure, Speaker Birla conducted an inter-ministerial briefing to align preparations with the themes and sessions of the conference.
