A milestone in India’s skill development journey
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana Marks a Decade of Impact: Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) has completed 10 years since its launch in 2015 by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Additionally, the scheme has enabled 45% women participation and significant outreach among SCs, STs, and OBCs.
Static GK Tip: The Bru tribe is an indigenous community from Northeast India, mainly residing in Tripura and Mizoram.
Focusing on a future-ready workforce
PMKVY 4.0 places strong emphasis on new-age skills like:

- Internet of Things (IoT)
- Robotics
- 5G Technology
- Cybersecurity
- Green Hydrogen
