Telangana Honoured for Battery Manufacturing Excellence: On July 10, 2025, Telangana received the prestigious IESA Industry Excellence Award 2025 in the category of State Leadership – Battery Manufacturing. The award was presented during the 11th India Energy Storage Week (IESW) held in New Delhi, acknowledging the state’s proactive role in advancing battery production and clean energy technologies.

The award was accepted by S.K. Sharma, Director of Electronics and EV & ESS, on behalf of the Telangana government. It marks a significant milestone in the state’s journey toward becoming a national hub for energy storage systems, electric vehicle components, and battery innovation.
